Gilsonite Tinter is a unique aid in the tinting of spray and wipe stains. WS2 GIL2 is a high solids, Low VOC, HAPS free highly concentrated tinter that will enable you to obtain depth of open grain and clarity of closed grain woods.
The amount added will darken the open grain; however, do not add more than 15% in the stains to avoid bleed through.
Suitable for overcoating with conventional nitrocellulose or acid curing topcoats and sealers.
Gilsonite Tinter was developed to replace WS2GIL at the same tinting strength.
